This week for Fashion Friday I thought I’d do a little unboxing of some boots I recently purchased. I’ve been looking for what seems like the longest for some gold boots to rock this Fall/Winter season. I’ve had my eye on a few pair, but they all were way too expensive for my taste. Well, one day I ran across a JustFab ad and of course the rest is history. I did a thing and made a little purchase. For those that don’t know, JustFab is a monthly subscription service. Each month you’re charged $39.95 to go towards a purchase on the site. I’ve been a VIP member before but canceled because I kept forgetting to skip each month when I didn’t find anything I wanted. That’s all part of the VIP membership. Anyway, I signed up again just to purchase these boots because I loved them so much. I not only like the fact that they are gold, but they are a croc effect, and a western style boot.

Initials Thoughts

So what do I think about the shoes? Well, I’m a bit underwhelmed by them. First of all, the box was a little beat up, but I overlooked that. I did like the pink packaging though. I wasn’t expecting anything too extravagant because well it’s not like these are Chanel shoes are anything.

They are not stiff like most boots which is good because I won’t have to break them in. I ordered a size 9.5, and they are definitely true to size. They are pretty comfortable too, and I feel like I can walk in them for long periods of time. However, they do look rather cheap. I can also see some of the thread coming undone. Again, for almost $40 I wasn’t expecting them to be the best quality. Maybe it’s just me being picky, but they look like someone has worn them too.

Should They Stay or Should They Go?

Well I’m on the fence about whether or not I should keep them. I do like that they are more of a champagne gold and not a yellow gold. I think I’ll need to style them with some outfits to determine whether or not they are worth keeping. I’m just not sure if I can really pull them off. I’m usually not this indecisive about a purchase. I may just keep looking for the right ones to invest in meaning I’ll probably have to spend a little more money. I may give myself a week or two to think about it, but the search continues. What do you all think? Should I keep them, or should they go back? Do you like them? Would you wear them? Let me know.
