Wedding Guest Outfit Ideas: What To Wear To A Fall/Winter Wedding

Have you been invited to any Fall/Winter weddings this year and just don’t know what to wear? Well you’ve come to the right blog post! I know that most weddings occur in the Spring/Summer season, however, there are some ladies and gentlemen out there who prefer to celebrate their nuptials during the chilly months. I actually think this time of year is the perfect time to have a wedding because the weather is so glorious.

There is nothing more magical than an intimate ceremony set against the backdrop of the fresh Autumn leaves or against the Winter white snow. Furthermore, show up and show out in a show stopping look that will be sure to turn heads. Now it’s of course all about the bride, but I’m sure she’ll want you looking your absolute best especially for those photo op moments.

I’ve rounded up some of my favorite pieces that I’ve found that I think any lady would look outstanding in on such a special day. These pieces can even double as party wear so that you can get the most out of your wedding guest outfit!

DARK FLORAL DRESSES

Floral dresses are not just reserved for the Spring/Summer season. Pair a dark floral dress or Fall/Autumn dress with some minimalistic heels for a chic sophisticated look. This option would be optimal for a warmer climate.

SUITS/JUMPSUITS

If you’re more into androgynous looks and don’t particularly like to dress too feminine, then opt for a nice tailored suit or jumpsuit for a more business style look. Pair this option with some sleek high heels and a statement necklace for a bold look.

SLIP SKIRTS

Pair a slip skirt with a light weight or chunky sweater for a more dressy casual look. This look is perfect for those less formal weddings. Further style the look with some knee high boots.

COCKTAIL DRESSES

For a more formal wedding, try a lovely cocktail dress. Pair it with some minimalistic heels and a faux fur coat, and you have yourself a perfect classy look. A cocktail dress would be perfect for an evening wedding.

KNIT DRESSES

Knit dresses or sweater dresses are also a good option for a Fall/Winter wedding. You'll be warm and cozy for sure. Pair this option with some knee high boots or booties as well. This option is suitable for a more casual wedding.
