HOW TO STYLE A SUIT 13 WAYS

13 Ways to Style a Suit

Ladies, if you have a suit in your closet that’s just been sitting in your closet for years, take it out. It time to style it up. Now I know you’ve been saving it for a special occasion telling yourself it’s your special suit. However, it’s not doing you any good way back in that closet collecting dust and wasting away when you can give it new life again. I’m not much of a suit wearer, but I have collected a few over the years that I’ve designated for special events like for church events for instance. I’ve decided that I no longer want to wait until there is a reason to wear them. I want to wear them just because it’s Tuesday. Even better, I want to separate the pieces and wear them individually to get even more wear and use out of them

So here we are! I’ve taken a suit from my closet that I’ve recently purchased from Zara earlier in the year. I thought I wouldn’t get much use out of it. Then I decided to challenge myself and see how many ways I can style it up, and well I’ve found out that I can find an infinite amount of ways to style this particular suit. As a matte of fact, I’ve managed to style this suit up 13 different ways. The creative juices were definitely flowing, but I contained myself as to not overwhelm you guys!!!! Well I hope you enjoy the looks, and let me know in the comments which one was your favorite. Now let’s get to styling!!!!!!

I decided to show you guys how to style the suit together in a casual way. It’s a playful take on a very business like suit.

I really love black and brown together. It makes such a perfect color combination!

This look is full of color!!! I plan to incorporate lots of color this Fall/Winter season. Color blocking is always a good idea.

Here is another neutral look. This look is definitely giving me grandpa chic!!!!!

This look was so fun to create. When I took this picture, the first thing I thought of was Michael Jackson!!! You’ve been hit by a smooth criminal!!!!! If you know, you know!!!! RIP MJ.

Here is another look with a pop of color. I love the vibrancy of this particular shade of blue. This is giving me vacationing in Mykonos vibes. I really need to be on a beach right now. Ugh!!!! Covid won’t let me be great!!!!

As you can tell, I love pops of color. I especially love this shade of green. It has been my go to color this Summer season, and I’m planning to continue with this trend for the Fall/Winter season. I’m going to ride this trend out into the sunset for sure!

I don’t always wear shorts, but when I do, it has to be with some boots and a blazer!!! No but seriously, I haven’t worn shorts all that often this Summer season, but these faux leather ones have me wanting to rock shorts this Fall season. I plan to layer up with some tights when it’s just too unbearable to have your legs out.

This was such a fun look to create. I had this scarf tucked away in my closet and thought I’d style it up like a top. I’m actually going to be doing a styling video where I show you several ways to style a scarf, so stay tuned for that.

Biker shorts with a blazer. Never would have thought that would be a thing, but here we are with it totally being a thing!!! So fun right??

Like I said before, green is my thing!!! This is probably one of my top 5 looks!! Green is everything in case you didn’t know!!!

This is another look in my top 5. I fell in love with these boots when I saw them on Zara. So much so that I purchased them in pink. This is the most dressed up look out of all the looks. I could imagine wearing this look in New York during Fashion Week. I’m just manifesting over here!!! Fashion Week in New York, Paris, and Milan here I come!!!

And last but not least, here is just a casual running errands kind of look. This is definitely something I would have worn in college, but of course I wasn’t that cool in college and knew nothing about style. If I could do it over again, this would be the vibe!!!!

Well there you have it guys. I hope you enjoyed the looks and that it wasn’t too overwhelming. Like I said previously, I could have created more, but I think you get the idea. Suits can be versatile, and you don’t have to keep them tucked away. Get that suit out and find ways to style it. Take some of my inspiration and flow with it. You would be surprised at what you can do with a little creativity. I hope you’ve found this helpful, and let me know which look was your favorite. Happy styling!!!!
