Wedding season is here in full force! So if you’re planning to attend one this season, I have a few outfit ideas for you. Picking what to wear to a wedding can be challenging. You don’t want to be too overdressed and outshine the bride, and you don’t want to look underdressed and disrespect the bride. So what do you wear to a wedding. Well, I’m no expert on wedding attire, but have attended plenty in my lifetime, including my own, and I know that it all depends on the setting and the brides preference. The best advice I could give is ask the bride what’s acceptable. Ask about the setting of the wedding venue. If it’s a destination wedding like on a beach, then typically the attire is casual beachy vibes. If it’s at a church, then typically it’s more formal. Again, it all depends on the brides preference as to how she wants her guests to dress.
If you don’t want to stick out like a sore thumb, be sure to do your research. It is an honor and a privilege to be invited to someone’s wedding. It is such a special time to share with the lovely bride and groom so you want to make sure you’re ready and prepared to partake in such a momentous occasion.
