Raise your hand if you love shoes. Is it just me? Some people collect cars, but I’m a collector of shoes. I just love a good shoe. Even if it’s the most uncomfortable thing in the entire world as far as heel height, I don’t care. I just love to look at them. I liken it to a beautiful painting or sculpture in an art museum. That’s basically what my closet looks like at this point. They are just so pretty to look at. Every time I say throw those away you don’t need any more. I end up buying more.
I’m not sure how many shoes I have in total, but let me go ahead and tell you that it’s a lot. It’s probably more than the average person should have in a closet. Most of my shoes are super affordable. I don’t care to pay an arm and a leg for shoes because I probably wouldn’t get my wear out of them. That’s my justification I guess for continuing to purchase more.
Over the past six months or so, I’ve acquired quite a hefty amount of shoes. It has nothing to do with quarantine, but more so to do with the fact that every retailer is having a sale at the moment. I love sales just as much as I love shoes. Such a heavenly combination wouldn’t you agree.
I thought I would share with you some of the shoes that I’ve collected that I intended on wearing for the spring and summer months. Of course, things most certainly haven’t gone to plan with a whole pandemic upon us. Some of the shoes I’ve collected are geared toward going out on dates. However, I do have some for every day wear as well.
