Happy Friday beautiful people. For today’s edition of Fashion Friday, I thought I’d share with you 5 ways to style a leopard print dress. One wouldn’t think that a dress would be so versatile especially a printed dress, but I’ve come up with 5 ways to rock it. I really wanted to challenge myself to make the most out of my wardrobe. Don’t get me wrong, I love to shop. However, I haven’t been inspired to add anything to my wardrobe, which is good for my closet as well as my bank account!!!
So I thought let me just find several different ways to style pieces in my wardrobe that I already have but don’t wear as often. I challenge you as well to make the very best out of what you already have so you’re not finding yourself buying clothing items that you don’t use or need. My mission is just to inspire you to use what you already own. Pick an item and challenge yourself and see if you can style the piece at least 3 different ways if not more. Be inspired by how I’ve styled my leopard print dress down below. Have a fabulous weekend and of course take care of yourself as well as others.
(Details of pic above: I purchased the dress from Zara.com and the sandals from topshop.com.)
Classy and Sophisticated
For this first look, I added a brown faux leather jacket from Mango.com, a brown croc effect handbag from ASOS.com, and block heel shoes from ASOS.com. The entire outfit was neutral, so I thought I’d add a pop of color with the shoes. You could wear this look on a variety of occasions. This look is packed with texture and sophistication.
Preppy Chic
I was channeling librarian chic with my second look. Lol! I threw on a black sweater that I got years ago, added some black oxford platform shoes from Zara and a Chanel-inspired backpack from shein.com. This is the perfect look for a college student who wants to be taken seriously.
Mom Chic
I would wear this look to run errands or to spend time with my family. This is what I like to call comfy chic. I just threw on a slogan sweatshirt that I purchased from mango, my converse sneakers, and a handbag from Zara. Another perfect ensemble to wear to class or to whip around town. Who said you can’t be comfy and chic at the same time?
Fall Vibes
The next outfit has a bit of a western vibe to it which is most certainly trending this fall/winter season. It just screams fall vibes. I purchased the boots and denim jacket from mango.com. The beaded handbag is from Zara.com, and the belt is from ASOS.com. The perfect outfit to wear to a fall festival or any fall party.
Grown and Sexy
For the final look, I decided to unbutton the dress and wear it like a long cardigan. The satin cami and heels are from shein.com. I purchased these faux leather leggings from amazon.com, and the beaded handbag from Zara.com. I felt grown and sexy in this look. Lol! I said what I said!!! This is definitely a date night with the hubby look.
Well there you have it. I hope you enjoyed the looks that I put together. I could have created even more, but I’ll save that for next time. Feel free to leave me some suggestions of an item you’d like to see me style several ways. I’m up for the challenge!!
