Fashion Friday: Styling Suits

On today’s blog post I’m showing you ladies the various ways to style a suit. Whether you’re a corporate gal or just want to look like a boss, I’m showing you my interpretation of the suit look! Whenever I put on a suit, I just feel like I’m ready to run the world or at the very least take on my day. A suit can be worn dressed up or down. No longer are the days of just being appropriate for office wear. In fact, the suit trend has taken over and given women a sense of power and authority even on an off day.

I tend to wear suits to church mostly, but I do wear them dressed down if I’m going for date night or some other special occasion that requires me to dress up. I prefer to purchase suits that are more casual simply for the versatility. It is all about comfort for me no matter what I’m wearing.

I personally feel more comfortable in a pants suit, but I’ve also shown you how you can incorporate shorts into the look. So don’t put those shorts away just yet. If you don’t feel comfortable with your legs out, you can put on some tights or sheer stockings and knee high boots for a more covered up look. You can also switch up the pants or shorts with a midi length skirt if you like. A suit is so versatile because you can mix and match and wear them separately. This is the best way to get the most out of your wardrobe.

You may not have that job you want, but you can most certainly dress the part until that door opens up for you to walk in boldly and with style! Take care of yourself as well as others and have an amazing weekend!
