SWEATER: ZARA(OLD)     SKIRT: ASOS       TIGHTS: ASOS

Like most women, I love to shop. It can be quite ridiculous at times, but it’s good to have a hobby right? Mine is unfortunately an expensive hobby. I’ve compiled for you just a few of my favorite places to shop online for affordable, trendy fashion. Some are more expensive than others, but each retailer has a vast array of pieces that you will just fall in love with season after season.

Asos is an online site based out of the U.K. It is probably my favorite out of all the retailers I will be mentioning. I stumbled upon this site after viewing countless YouTube videos on fashion and thought, hhhhmmmmm, let me check this site out and see what all the hype is about. I was pleasantly surprised. Asos has something for everyone. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or your loved ones, you will be sure to find that one special piece or a multitude of pieces. They have name brand items ranging from Nike, Addidas, Aldo, Converse, Free People, and Rayban just to name a few. There are just countless brands to choose. You will find clothing, accessories, shoes, prom dresses, makeup products, and much more. They even have a plus size selection for the curvy beauty. You will indeed find something for women, men, and children. The sizing will be dependent upon what brand you shop from because we all know sizing is different with each brand. They do have an option for you to key in your measurements, and they will recommend which size you should order. I find this very helpful. The site is also easy to navigate. Shipping for me is free because I have premier delivery which means after paying $19 for the year, I receive free 2-day shipping. I shop quite frequently so this is a plus for me. Also if I need something to wear and need it in a hurry, I can go to Asos to come through in a pinch and receive my order in exactly two days. Otherwise, shipping takes about a week.  They also have a marketplace where you can shop for second hand items which is perfect for those who enjoy a little thrifting. You will find yourself spending hours browsing, but if you love to shop like I do, it will be an enjoyable experience.

Zara is probably my second favorite site to shop online, although, Zara also have brick and mortar stores where you can go to try before you buy. I’m an online shopper, so I simply shop in the privacy and comfort of my own home. Again, Zara has something for everyone in your family. They have clothing, shoes, and accessories to help spruce up your wardrobe. They do not have a plus size selection which is one of the drawbacks of this retailer. I will have to say that I love the shoes and handbags selection. They have such unique pieces that can take a boring outfit to that next level. The prices are a little steep unfortunately, but the quality is decent. They have trendy pieces that can last years from now with proper care and maintenance. The site is also easy to navigate. You will have to pay for shipping depending upon where you live. The sizing is true to size, and they do have an option for you to insert your measurements, and they will recommend your size to purchase. There is also a section called TRF which is mainly geared towards teens and tweens, so if you order from this section you may want to size up. They do not however have many sales throughout the year which is annoying, but when they do have a sale, it’s pretty good. You will be sure to get up to 70% off certain items during the sale period which will be coming up soon for Black Friday so be on the lookout.

Mango is similar to Zara in price point and quality. They too have brick and mortar stores like Zara. There stores are mainly in the European countries, but I do think there are a few here in the U.S. as well. If you’re into that Scandinavian style, then you will love Mango. They too have something for everyone in your family. The quality is somewhat better than Zara which also reflects in pricing, but you get what you pay for right? They also have clothing, shoes, and accessories for women, men, and children. They do not however have a plus size selection. I love to shop at Mango for timeless pieces that I know I’ll get some good wear out of time after time. The accessories and shoes are also on point and can dress up any dull and boring outfit. The shipping is decent depending on the item. Some items take longer to ship. Sometimes it takes about three weeks to get one item, but usually I receive my order within a week. When I do receive my order, I’m generally happy with the purchases. There sizes are true to size. Mango also have sales throughout the year which are usually around the holidays. As I’m writing this excerpt, they currently have a Veterans Day sale with 30% off $150 and 20% off $100 or more. I tend to shop on this site during the sale period because Mango is a little pricy, and I like to save my coins in any way possible.

The last and final site I want to mention is Shein. Shein is an online site based out of China. They sell super affordable trendy pieces for women, men and children. Ok, so the quality is not that great, but I think what attracts people, including myself, to the site is the price point. I would say the prices are comparable to Forever 21. The sizing is tricky as well. If you purchase from this site you will need to size up one or two sizes. They also have a plus size selection. If I’m looking to try out a trend to see if I like it or not, I hit up Shein. The pieces aren’t going to last you a lifetime. You will be good to keep something wearable after a few washes. The shipping has gotten better I have noticed over the years. It can take up to a week to receive items depending on what type of shipping method you choose at checkout. I like to think of Shein as a surprise on Christmas Day because you just don’t know what you’re getting until you open the package. I’ve been really happy with items at times, and also really disappointed. They do accept returns, so if you’re not satisfied, you can always return your items. I don’t have any experience with that because I always find a way to make it work. I hate to return stuff!!!! I would like to further mention that if you don’t like to take chances on quality and not getting what you view online, then don’t shop at Shein. Full disclosure, sometimes I’ve ordered pieces that I thought looked cute online. Then I receive it. Open the box, and am totally taken off guard. I think to myself, this is not what it looked like online. One tip I would suggest if you want to try them out is to read the reviews. This allows me to get other peoples opinions and pictures of what the item or items look like before I purchase. I tend to be more satisfied with my purchases when I have thoroughly searched through the reviews first.

Conclusions

There you have it. These are just a few of the retailers that I frequent online. If you’ve ever shopped at any of these places or would like to, just leave me a comment down below and tell me what your experience was, or if you have any further questions just leave me a question in the comments. Happy Shopping!!!
